Objectives

Under general supervision, or following instructions, scans prints, photographs and negatives as part of the Digital Archiving Photograph Project.

Duties and Responsibilities

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

Handles photographs

Identifies subjects, settings and describes content of objects.

Assists in departmental inventories as assigned

Receives, redirects and responds to a variety of communications.

Works to promote teamwork within the department and within the City in general.

Continually strives to improve the proficiency of their job performance and provide a safe work environment.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must be age 18 or older
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test, reference checks, and background check.
Desirable Training and Experience

Receives initial training from Museum Coordinator and participates in periodic refresher courses.

Bachelor’s degree in history, education, museum studies or related field and one year experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the job.
