With the Covid-19 virus reality, there is a shortage of toilet paper at local stores. Some residents are trying to find alternate options. However, these items are not intended to be flushed into the sewer system. Please DO NOT flush paper towels, tissues, baby wipes, flushable wipes, or any alternate material as these clog sanitary sewer systems, pump impellers and screens at the Water Reclamation Facility. This could be very costly to the City for repair or to replace these pieces of equipment. PLEASE flush toilet paper only.
