In June 2019, Hilary was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma. Treatments and care have and will continue to require frequent trips and stays in Bismarck, Fargo, and Rochester, MN.
Hilary started as a volunteer firefighter with Dickinson Fire Department in August 1987 then to a part-time employee in March 1989. In January 1991, Hilary started his full-time career as a firefighter. His roles have included Lieutenant of the volunteer firefighters, Officer in Charge, and his current title as Fire Engineer. Hilary has 32 years of service with the City of Dickinson. He is a life-long resident of Dickinson.
