Dickinson State University – Dorothy Stickney Auditorium
Free and open to the public.
The special ceremony will include an address from Mr. Brian Davidson, pastor of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Dickinson, followed by an arrangement of musical selections and presentations by the Prairie Rose Chorus. Dr. Richard Brauhn, former vice president for academic affairs at Dickinson State, serves on the community organizing committee which has coordinated this year’s Veterans Day event.
“The Dickinson Veterans Day Ceremony is a community event honoring area veterans of the armed services and recognizing their service and sacrifice for their state and country,” said Brauhn. “Dickinson State University has been hosting this event for the last 15 years and is a military friendly university, proud to support the country’s armed services and their veterans.”
This ceremony has been made possible through the support of the City of Dickinson, the Honor Guard of the American Legion Matthew Brew Post #3, the Prairie Rose Chorus, the NEA Big Read and Dickinson State University.
