On 6/27 the NDDOT began a 50-day bridge repair project on Hwy 22 from approximately 4th Street SE to 5th Street SE. This project will include road closures, detours and lane reductions which will affect traffic movement. Please use caution and obey any traffic signs/signals when traveling in this area.
This was a nice surprise this morning, had to backtrack to 6th I order to get on 22. Some signs on the road for the residents would’ve been nice. Now I know to hit River to avoid the light and single lane.
Not even thinking about how far some of these detours are to get up the road to places. State street and the bypass are not exactly up the road from some places. Gas prices are bad enough for a here and there trip now they're a here there and everywhere trip. Traffic can get heavy at times with the north and south travel so it longer. All I can hope is that fifty days are whether it's raining or not!
My question is how long it is expected to last
What type of road work are they doing?
When does this start?
Would be nice to know about these projects before they get started so people know in advance 🙄
how many months did it take to originally build the bridge?
I think the street names you’ve listed are incorrect
UPDATE: REPAIRS HAVE BEEN MADE AND THE ROAD IS OPEN.
🚧STREET CLOSURE – 4TH AVE E🚧
